The not-so-little princess in the house is going to be 5 insyaAllah in this few days. She actually looking forward to hold a party just for her girlfriends, but I've reminded her over and over as we might only able to make just a small party or maybe postpone it to another date, depends on the current situation. Kesian juga lah kan, but what to do..hehe..
Her school celebrated the Harmony Day a day earlier than other schools due to having a Photo Session day on Thursday. And it was the very first time for Parents' Assembly for Primary students in this year. Alhamdulillah, her TokNde and TokTah were here and got the chance to witness that very special event. My mom said, she hasn't got the chance to come to any of our (read: her children) assembly when we're young due to work commitment. So that will be a memorable one for them, to attend their grandchild's instead. Heheh.. And that always make me think and always be thankful and grateful to have the chance to see my own children grow daily. Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah =)

All of the students need to be dressed in orange. Since orange is not her favourite, (the usual typical little girl who loves pink and purple very much), so that was a bit headache for me to find one. But Alhamdulillah, there's one being brought by my mom - so that's her in her orange tshirt with a blue jeans.eheh..

One that day too, there were some awards being given out to the students. I totally love the way; how the school encourages the students on doing good deeds and kind things. Yup, encouragement is the key. Why I say so? It's because the award were given not because you earned the long straight A's in your subject, getting the highest mark in the class or even school, but the awards were given to those have done good things although it's just a small one. Not to say that academic isn't important though.
For kindness award, her bestfriend received it for her class. She has shown a very wonderful and sweet thing in welcoming one of their new friend to their class. The new girl was a bit sad and worry on the first day, but they (Maryam & her bff) has welcome her by singing a lullaby, showing the wonderful arts around the class, playing with her etc without even being told to do so by their teacher! Isn't it sweet =)

It was quite a long assembly, which included those activities being planned for the Harmony Day =)
