Jalan-jalan WA: Busselton Jetty, Busselton

Now, am going to continue on our previous holiday to Margaret River. The next stop after Bunbury Dolphin Discovery Centre was to Busselton Jetty! Alhamdulillah. Arrived there about 1pm, had ur lunch and enjoy the scenery. Great place for photography!

Busselton Jetty is approximately 2km across the Geographe Bay, the longest timber-piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. There are several other activities that you may interested in besides enjoying the wonderful scenery, Subhanallah such as Underwater Observary, Interactive Centre and also riding the Jetty train along the 2km jetty.

Since we're on a tight schedule, we only went to the Interative Centre, where the souveniors shop is. Once you reached the jetty, you can clearly see a blue building which is the Interactive Centre, there's a small Heritage Museum; with loads of information on the jetty itself and also where you buy tickets for both Underwater Observatory and for the Jetty Train. If you opt to purchase tickets online (which I strongly recommend especially for the Jetty Train), you may collect the tickets there too =)

Oh yes, the entrance fee for the jetty day pass is $2.50 for adult and free for the kids (16years and below). If you want to have a ride on the train and the Underwater, the tickets are $11 & $29.50 for adults and $6 & $14 for kids below 14 years of age respectively. There are special entry for family pass too. For more information on this, you may directly click to their official website here

Enjoy the photos of the lovely girls =)

The Interactive Centre
Stay tune for the next entry on our journey insyaAllah.

Don't forget to continue praying for our lovely brothers and sisters in Islam in Palestine! Pray harder!

Jalan-jalan Perth: Dolphin Discovery Centre, Bunbury

Last Tuesday, we headed to Margaret River for the first time with our guests, Alhamdulillah. On our way there, we stopped at Bunbury, to have a sneak peak of the dolphin. Unfortunately, the dolphins weren't there showing their face at the Interactive Zone, Dolphin Discovery Centre although we arrived there quite early (I guess =) ) at 10 in the morning.

The centre is not that huge, just nice where you can see the animals feeding at a particular time, a short 3D movie (about 7-8mins) and other learning facts about dolphins.  You can also opt for the Dolphin Eco Cruise or even swim with on the wild side tour. More information can be found here

I'm here!

Turtle feeding time

Bergambar dgn dolphin ni pon jadi lahh.. =)

Watching 3D movie

The ticket costs $10 for 3 visits (with no expiry dates) and $5 for kids aged 4 years and above. We didn't wait for longer time just to see the dolphins, since for the past few days the dolphins weren't there to visit. Besides, we have other stops waiting ahead before we reach Margaret River =) Stay tune!

Quran Classes

Since we postponed our ticket, Maryam got the chance to attend her first Saturday Quran class at school. There are many other classes according to the student's age and level. Actually the classes has started in Term 2, but we're not being informed on that. It's okay. It's such a small class with less than 10 students. Most of them are Maryam's friends from Pre-Primary class and a girl from Year 1.

The class is from 11am until 1pm. They start with short revision of previous class work. Then, continue with a new letter. Have some writing activity and have a short break for about 15 minutes. They played in the playground and have some snacks. Alhamdulillah. Looks like Maryam enjoys her Quran class very much and looking forward for it this Saturday insyaAllah.
