Maryam was sleeping all the way from KL to Perth, and also to Melbourne! She only woke up once to finish her meal!
Luckily the seat next to her was empty. More spaces for her to sleep comfortably. Alhamdulillah
Arrived in Melbourne unexpectedly. Alhamdulillah.
I admit that the journey was quite tiring. All luggages had to be taken out from plane, going through the immigration, up and down the bus; to and from the hotel with the luggages...alone with Maryam! Oh yes, the luggages were almost 50kg! Once we've checked in at the hotel, it was already 1pm. Maryam was definitely hungry. She didn't eat anything except for the half of the sausage roll at about 5.00 in the morning. So, with the map provided at the hotel lobby, off we went like a pro!
Searching for the nearest Halal restaurant for lunch
After walking about 15minutes, we finally arrived at the nearest Halal restaurant that we can find. It is Mama Wong's Kitchen, located at Flinders St. Alhamdulillah, Allah makes us easy as the restaurant was actually closed, with us the last customer for the lunch period. A large rice and chicken curry, vegetarian popia and a drink for both of us. Couldn't ask for more, Alhamdulillah. We then headed back to our hotel, to get some rest, which is about 2 and a half hours before our journey back to the airport.
With our simple lunch
The hotel is quite spacious and comfy. Not sure about the rate. We actually don't expect that we would be given such great hotel, as we're travelling on a low cost carrier; but ALhamdulillah, such a great experience and journey for us.

We've travelled more than 13 hours on flight. That makes me feel that, my little girl insyaAllah is ready for long journey to the most awaited destination insyaAllah. InsyaAllah. Moga Allah permudahkan!Ameen!
