School Holiday Activity 2: Medieval Games

We registered for this activity about a week before the school holiday begins. The first activity that we tried to book in at Can. Vale was fully-booked and it was quite dissappointed actually since the other session was quite far in Kenwick. So, we never had the chance to join one of the activities being offered. But, Alhamdulillah, managed to squeeze in for this activity ie Medieval Games at our nearest library.

They started off with a short story-telling session as usual, which is about a dragon in the house. Yup, this time around-the theme is about medieval: that's why there were about fairies, dragons etc. There were quite a large crowd of children ranging from the age of 4 to 10 years old. From what I can see, most of them are at about Maryam's age where majority of them are between 4 and 6 years of age.

The exciting part started soon after that. They were making a dragon! Creativity of young children - we got to see many different colourful and attractive dragons around the room. Enjoy the photos of Maryam and their friends!

Touch-up a little bit of here and there =)

Tadaaa! This is her final masterpiece!
(Will story about the blue thingy in the next entry insyaAllah)

Once finished, she tried another game which is "Where's the Tail?" It's just a simple game of where you need to paste the dragon's tail while you're blindfolded! First time for her and she's having fun of it, Alhamdulillah!

Maryam in action!

She's doing the activity quite fast, so didn't have the time to snap a nice photo of her doing that except for the above..hhuhu

Next is, throw the ring to the bottle. Let the photos below do the talking =P

Have a go dear!

Yes, I did it!

All three activities above were successfully finished within an hour, Alhamdulillah! Can't wait for the next activity next week, insyaAllah. See u soon!
