Saya Mahu Memulakan Bisnes Borong Secepat Mungkin!

Status fulltime housewife seharusnya dimanfaatkan sepenuhnya! The time has come!

And the result is..

Exhausted. Tired. Muscle pain. You named it.

Macam nak pengsan mengemas/menyapu garden! I believed if this routine inspection is being held in Malaysia, landlord would not be facing lots of problems with repairing etc. Yelah kan, within 3-6 months, datang check rumah- so possibility untuk rumah ada problem pon kurang la sikit.

Look at her back- kumpulan2 bunga/daun kering yg sangat banyak!

Silau & panas; accessories lengkap!
Excited to help; with the Dora in hand
Our house is now clean in and out. Alhamdulillah. Thanks to my beloved; memang habis pulun mengemas. Since some of the Malaysian here advise not to cook during the inspection day because of the smell etc, so a day off for me! Kitchen looks really clean and tidy- hopefully I can maintain that kind of look although not for inspection. Sendiri pun seronok tengok bersih & lincin lincau dapur & rumah.

The agent came alone to inspect the house at about 3pm. I just let her inspect the house by herself. Alhamdulillah, not much comment from her. Except that she advise to put the rubbish plastic in the bin. Bukan tak mahu letak dalam bin, bin dah penuh dan dah tak muat. Malas nak citer kat dia, angguk mengiyakan aje lah. hehe..

Before she left, she just said thank you and it's been great!

Alhamdulillah =)

B.E.R.S.I.H 2011

For those in WA, it's common to have a routine rental inspection. Not like when I was in the UK, none that I know are having this kind of inspection. Same like Malaysia. Here, some will be having it every quarterly in a year and some might have every six month depends on the tenancy agreement. For us, it will be scheduled every three months.

So, the real estate agent (and the landlord, maybe?) will be coming tomorrow for the routine inspection. This is the first experience for us, after 6 weeks staying here. They have given us the notice, I think it's 2 weeks notice- can't remember. As usual, dah dekat baru sibuk-sibuk nak mengemas!

Since we've just moved and the furniture that we have is just the basics one, there's nothing to be worried of, I supposed. But, attention is more on the outsides- garden and backyard! Berbeg2 la plastik hitam of rumput and daun2 kering..huhuh

Suspen je kan, ingat nak citer pasal BERSIH. But I believed the event was a success ! Congratulations! Something needs to be done by the relevant parties. And us especially the youth! Don't waste your votes, register now and check your details regularly.

Oh yes, will update again later after the inspection. Hoping for a good result!

Tantrums in public

I believed most of us especially parents know and familiar about tantrums. Toddlers especially tend to throw tantrums anywhere they want, no matter at home or even in public.

As per wiki, tantrum is an emotional outburst, usually associated with children or those in emotional distress, that is typically characterized by stubbornness, crying, screaming, yelling, shrieking, defiance, angry ranting, a resistance to attempts at pacification and, in some cases, violence. Physical control may be lost, the person may be unable to remain still, and even if the "goal" of the person is met he or she may not be calmed. A tantrum may be expressed in a tirade: a protracted, angry, or violent speech.

Maryam, too has few times throwing tantrums in public. Malu? Ada lah sikit. But, the important thing that we, as parents need to understand and learn is how to handle them, especially in public. Just want to share what I've read from many parenting site; you can try it yourself and practice whichever suits you, your child and the situation itself.

1) Plan ahead of the journey. If we're going out for groceries & window shopping for more than 1 hour, then I should prepare some books/toys or even healthy snacks to make sure she'll be entertained while shopping or might be hungry in between meals. As from I observe, Maryam normally throw tantrums when it's time for her nap or it's meal time.

2) I should remain calm. This is quite difficult, honestly. But, I have to learn to be as calm as possible and not to get temper, addition to her tantrums. Yelah, anak tengah duduk meraung sekuatnya depan orang ramai dan maknya nak kena buat dek je. Huhu..Memang susah. But I believed this must be a good way to handle her. If it's impossible to remain calm and continue shopping, I've to prepare to just leave everything in the trolley/basket and leave. (Drastik!) or let her Ayah to continue shopping and pay. I've to bring her out from the store-to anywhere possible that can remain her calm and stop her tantrum.

3) Strict on my decision. Normally she started to throw tantrums if she doesn't get what she wants from the store. So, I've to be firm on my decision and not giving false hope, so that she'll understand that she'll not getting what she wants although by throwing tantrums.

It's a learning process for me as mummy each and everyday in my life. I have to know that throwing tantrums is just one of her growing stages and shouldn't be ashamed of if it's happen in public.

Pick up phone Ayah..

Maryam    : Ayah, tolong pick up phone. Maryam call Ayah ni..(while holding the unplugged phone)
Ayah          : Oh, hello Maryam (also pretending putting his phone to his ear)
Maryam    : Ayah, Can you help me? My computer is broken..
Ayah          : Oh, what happen?
Maryam    : Eh bukan la Ayah. Cakap I'll be right there..
Ayah          : Oh ok, I'll be right there..

She's imitating the cartoon that she used to watch on PHDC (now known as Disney Junior) back in Malaysia! Can you guess what show is that?

Yup..it's Handy Manny!

Cakes...cupcakes..Yummy!

Everytime we go for groceries shopping, I just love to see the wonderful looking yummylicious cakes, doughnuts and buns here. Tapi memang la kena control nafsu makan tu. It's because we need to carefully look into the ingredients details; whether it is suitable for us.

If to compare with UK, it's much easier there as most of the products which is suitable is label as 'V', which is suitable for vegetarians and we only need to look extra if it contains alcohol. But here, products with that kind of label is very limited and we need to know which emulsifier or product can be eaten or avoided. But, most of the time, tahan nafsu- ada rezeki buat sendiri la nampaknya. hehe..

So for those in Malaysia, enjoy the moments of having those yummy delicious cakes, cupcakes and those desserts that is readily available everywhere and everytime you need- siap duit je la. Oh yes, since sometimes it's a bit pricey especially those cute cupcakes, mouth watering creams etc, you must not miss this offer. There are on 50% discount and can be delivered to directly to you (some areas). So, please...please, eat that on our behalf =)

Pureen Warehouse Sales is back!

To those who are looking forward to this warehouse sales, I'm sure you wouldn't want to miss out this event again! Same place with lots of stuff on bargains. I've been there twice before, and I would advise you to come early. Yes, really early as normally people have been waiting outside the gate and rush in once its open. Hehhe..I know it's ridiculous and crazy but the truth is they are! Since you can expect that it'll be crowded with people and hot, I would suggest, leave your children at home if possible and bring along your friend(s) - to help you shopping or maybe just drop you off as parking would be a headache! hehe..

So, make sure you mark this dates on your calendar and have fun with the sales! =)

Got less choice except..

When we crave for fast food here, we normally end up of having these..

Yup, KEBAB!
We only have it once in a while since it's very costly! One meal costs you about $10-$20 depends on what opt for. I normally have to choose something with rice just to make sure Maryam eats as well. She'll eat more when there's rice and she's not into bread that much. And that definitely cost even more. Huhu..Takpelah, asalkan Maryam makan =)
Rice with chicken kebab and vege

Alhamdulillah, there are plenty of halal kebab cafe around us. Banyak choice ada, cumanya sediakan ongkosnya sajalah kan. Bear in mind that the cost that I mentioned earlier is just for meals, which excludes the drinks! Drinks - the cheapest that you can get is $3.50! So, normally we end up buying only one for three of us or sometimes no drinks at all.hehe..
